In recognition of its strong and enduring partnership with the City Government of Tagbilaran, the University of Bohol (UB) was honored with the Public Alliance Award during the 59th Charter Day Celebration of Tagbilaran City on July 1, 2025, held at the Bohol Wisdom School gymnasium.
Tagbilaran City Mayor Jane Censoria Cajes-Yap, together with Vice Mayor Atty. Adam Jala, and City Administrator Alvin Acuzar personally presented the award to UB in acknowledgment of the university’s active role in promoting transformative education, responsive governance, and sustainable community development.
The city lauded UB’s unwavering commitment to collaborative engagement, citing its invaluable support and consistent participation in joint civic and academic initiatives. The recognition affirms the shared vision and partnership between UB and the local government in driving positive change for the community.
